1. Acceptable Use & Educational Purpose
Educational Purpose
Use the platform exclusively for academic learning, research, peer assistance, and educational resource sharing.
Content Standards
Share only appropriate academic materials with accurate subject descriptions and correct program categorization.
Academic Integrity
Respect university honor codes. Do not share live exam questions, proctored test answers, or prohibited materials.
Community Respect
Treat all peers with professionalism, respect, and maintain a safe, collaborative learning environment.
2. Student Marketplace Rules & Peer ServicesImportant
A. Discovery Platform Only
MediNotes Student Marketplace functions strictly as a peer discovery bulletin for students to offer or request peer tutoring, CodeTantra guidance, lab assistance, and study support. MediNotes does NOT act as an employer, agent, broker, or transaction processor.
B. External Deals & Zero Financial Control
All monetary transactions, price agreements, UPI/cash payments, and communications occur entirely outside MediNotes on external channels selected by users (e.g., WhatsApp, Instagram). MediNotes holds zero control, supervision, or custody over funds or student arrangements.
C. Assumption of Risk & Liability Disclaimer
Students connect and engage in marketplace deals strictly at their own risk. MediNotes is not liable for unpaid services, non-performance, quality disputes, fraudulent listings, or personal disagreements between students.
D. Honor Code & Illegal Services Prohibited
Marketplace listings must comply with university academic guidelines. Offers or requests involving live exam proxying, proctored test cheating, forged academic submissions, or illegal services are strictly forbidden and will result in permanent account termination.
3. Prohibited Activities
- Sharing malware, viruses, or harmful scripts
- Uploading copyrighted material without explicit authorization
- Creating fake marketplace listings, scam posts, or spamming contacts
- Harassment, stalking, or abusive communication toward fellow students
- Impersonating university staff, faculty, or other students
- Attempting to breach, reverse engineer, or compromise platform security
4. User Responsibilities & Account Security
Account Confidentiality
Maintain the security of your authentication details and notify support of any unauthorized account access immediately.
Accurate Information
Provide accurate contact details (WhatsApp/Instagram) and listing prices when creating marketplace posts.
Material Rights
Ensure you hold rights to share study materials and verify Google Drive permissions before posting.
Active Reporting
Use built-in reporting options to notify moderators of fake posts, abusive users, or honor code violations.
5. Platform Rights
- We reserve the right to edit or remove content violating terms
- Accounts violating community rules may be suspended or banned
- Feature updates and service improvements may occur periodically
- Listings reported for fraud or abuse will be removed promptly
6. Limitation of Liability
- MediNotes is provided on an "AS IS" basis without warranties
- Users are responsible for verifying peer credibility and deals
- MediNotes is not liable for external monetary losses or disputes
- Educational materials are provided for reference purposes only

MediNotes performs content curation, subject cataloging, duplicate detection, and integrates AI study assistance to make academic materials organized and accessible.

8. Age Requirements
